Paper Submission Guidelines

4th AUB International Conference on Higher Education and Sustainable Development

To ensure the highest academic quality and international standardization, authors are requested to follow the guidelines below before submitting their research papers.

1. Submission Process

All papers must be submitted via email. Authors will receive an acknowledgment email within 48 hours.

  • Email: conference@aub.ac.bd
  • Subject Line: Paper Submission – [Author Name] – [Track Name]
  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx)

2. Paper Format Requirements

Manuscript Length
  • Full paper: 4,000 – 7,000 words
  • Abstract: 150–250 words
  • Keywords: 3–5 keywords
Page Layout
  • Paper Size: A4
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Line Spacing: 1.15 | Alignment: Justified
Font Style

Title: Times New Roman, 16 pt, Bold

Headings: Times New Roman, 14 pt, Bold

Subheadings: Times New Roman, 12 pt, Bold

Main Text: Times New Roman, 12 pt

3. Paper Structure

Your manuscript should contain the following sections in order:

  1. Title of the paper
  2. Author(s) details (Name, Affiliation, Email, ORCID)
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords
  5. Introduction
  6. Literature Review
  1. Methodology / Research Design
  2. Results / Findings
  3. Discussion
  4. Conclusion and Recommendations
  5. References (APA Style)
  6. Appendices (if any)

4. Referencing Style

The conference follows the APA 7th Edition referencing format.

Book Example:

Smith, J. A. (2020). Research methods in social science. Oxford University Press.

Journal Article Example:

Rahman, M., & Lee, K. (2023). Digital innovation in higher education. Journal of Educational Research, 45(2), 112–125. https://doi.org/10.1234/jer.2023.456

5. Plagiarism & Originality Policy

  • Papers must be original and unpublished.
  • Similarity index must be below 20% (Turnitin or equivalent).
  • Any work with plagiarism above the limit will be automatically rejected.

6. Figures, Tables & Charts

Must be clear, numbered, and cited within the text. Image resolution must be minimum 300 DPI. Use the format Figure 1: Title or Table 1: Title.

7. Ethical Considerations

Authors must confirm that Data collection followed ethical standards, human/animal studies received proper approval, and all authors listed contributed significantly to the work.

8. Review and Acceptance

Acceptance Notification:
20 January 2026
Registration Deadline:
23 January 2026

9. Presentation Guidelines

  • Presentation duration: 10–12 minutes
  • Q&A session: 3 minutes
  • Slides must be prepared using PowerPoint with a clean, academic design.
